Austrian Arabic Center is currently able to ship books, CDs, DVDs, VHS videos, music cassettes, and select software to international addresses. Items from Austrian Arabic Center can be shipped to several international regions.
RISK OF LOSS
All items purchased from Austrian Arabic Center are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
Your packages may be subject to the customs fees and import duties of
the country to which you have your order shipped.

Please note: For your protection, any order valued at EUR 400 or more will be sent via a traceable method. Any customs or duty charges are always the responsibility of the recipient.

Calculating Cost
Shipping costs for orders from Austrian Arabic Center depend upon the methods and options you choose.
If you choose to group items into as few shipments as possible, you'll be charged for one regular per-shipment fee, as well as a per-item fee for each item in that shipment.
If you choose to ship items as soon as they become available, we'll charge you full per-shipment fees for each shipment as well as a per-item fee for each item.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full kilo gram.

Customs
You may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from Austrian Arabic Center, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.
Generally, customs forms for international packages will list the value of your order's contents by product type. For instance, orders containing CDs, videos, DVDs, and books will generally be listed in a way similar to the following example:
- Books value: EUR 32
- CDs value: EUR 12
- DVD value: EUR 33
- Video value: EUR 43
Your privacy is important to us, and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers and customers shipping products internationally to be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
Also, we may provide certain order, shipment and product information, such as titles, to our international carriers, and such information may be communicated by the carriers to customs authorities in order to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws.
If the order is a gift, the package is marked "Gift," but the cost of the item is still stated on the customs form. Customs authorities require us to state the value of the gift item directly on the package.
